- What if i have to check out before breakfast starts
- We offer to-go bags for our early risers and you can pick up one of these bags at the front desk
- What time is breakfast?
- Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, Monday through Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays it is extended to 10:00 am.
- What do you serve at breakfast?
- We have a variety of hot and cold items; eggs, omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice
Business Center
- Do you have a business center
- Yes we have three dedicated computers equipped with HSIA and printer accessible. If you need to make copies or send faxes just ask one of the associates at the desk to assist you. These services are free for all in-house guests.
Packages
- How can I send a package to myself/guest at your hotel?
- On the shipping label put the name of the recipient and in parenthesis (Guest). We will hold the package and give it to the guest at check in. If they are in-house we will notify the guest.
Parking
- Do you have parking available at your hotel?
- Yes, parking is available in a secure lot below the hotel
- Is there a fee for that?
- Yes, parking is $16.00 per night for hotel guests
- Do we have in and out privileges?
- What is the clearance in your garage?
- I have a large truck and it won’t fit, where can I park?
- We have additional parking across the street, also for $16.00.
Pets
- Are pets allowed?
- No, pets are not allowed.
Pool
- Is your pool heated?
- Yes, the temperature is set to 78 degrees.
- What are the hours of operation
- The pool operates from 8am to 10pm.
Public Transportation
- What trolley station is closest to the hotel?
- The Fifth Ave station is closest. It is three short blocks from the hotel. It runs along both the blue line and orange line.
- How much is the trolley?
- The tickets for the trolley can be purchased for $5 for the day pass, which includes all day fare for bus and trolley.
Shuttle Service
- What time does your shuttle run?
- The shuttle service is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Do we have to call for the shuttle or does it make a continuous loop?
- Yes, you do have to call the front desk and request for a shuttle. It takes approximately 15 minutes for the shuttle to pick you up from your location.
- Does your shuttle say Holiday Inn Express?
- No, it is a white “Park and Glide” van.
- How many does your shuttle seat?
- Where does your shuttle go?
- The shuttle service is limited to San Diego Airport, Greyhound, Zoo, Cruise ship Terminal, Amtrak and Balboa Park
- How do we schedule shuttles to and from the hotel?
- Contact the front desk at the hotel to register for any pick-ups
- How far in advance should I book the shuttle leaving from the hotel?
- A day in advance before your expected time of departure is recommended
Smoking
- Is smoking allowed?
- No, this hotel is 100% NON smoking.
Taxis
- Do you use a certain taxi service?
- We have a taxi stand outside the hotel for Yellow Cabs exclusively. If there is no cab available please inform the front desk and one will be called right away
Tours
- How do you book a tour!
- Depending on the tour company you use, there are three stops where you can board.*
*Outside the hotel for extended tours of San Diego
*Horton Plaza Shopping Center for San Diego City Tours
*Seaport Village for Seal Tours
There is a tour bus loading zone right In front of the hotel for easy pick up and drop off
